The Cooperative’s first annual meeting was held May 10, 1941. Swisher Electric Cooperative annual meeting is normally held on the last Thursday in the month of March. Attending the annual meeting is encouraged as a way for members to actively participate in the business of the Cooperative.
A typical annual meeting includes dinner, director elections, and review of Cooperative reports. Swisher Electric employees are on hand to assist members with registration. As appreciation for member attendance and participation, the annual meeting normally ends with drawings for door prizes!
